刘恒，毕业于天津大学建筑学院，获硕士学位。自2006在中国建筑设计研究院工作至今，现任中国建筑设计咨询有限公司绿色建筑设计研究院院长、总建筑师， 高级建筑师，国家一级注册建筑师。
擅长大型公共建筑设计，涉及文化体育、商业综合体、体育养老、科技园区等领域。现关注生态型城市设计的研究、绿色低碳与地域资源的利用，致力于建筑师引导的回归本元的绿色生态设计体系和生态型的建筑设计价值观，推崇绿色发展观、生长观、人本观与科技观的结合，致力于改变目前大量靠技术堆砌和评星应试的绿色建筑现状，以设计实践引导绿色发展。
作为设计主持人、专业负责人完成了大量国家重点项目及大型项目（许昌华豫樽置业广场98万m2；国家网球中心新馆，5万m2；中石油国际交流中心17万m2；新疆自治区档案馆新馆4万m2；中国轻纺城国际会展中心15万m2；宁波工商局大楼3万m2；中国建设银行北京生产基地20万m2等）。获得过“中国建筑设计银奖”、“北京市优秀工程设计一等奖”等数个省部级奖项，同时也是中国建筑设计研究院BIM设计的主要发起人与重要实践者，完成《国家网球中心新馆设计》一书。
